This image captured by NASA has been traveling all around the world through the network for the usual precision with with this piece of ice is shaped in a perfect rectangular. The image was taken by NASA’s IceBridge during a routine aerial survey for its Operation IceBridge project, undertaken to to better understand the processes that connect the polar regions within the global climate system. While we look at the image admiring its perfection ‘frozen’ in a photographic shot that is now propagating into the net, the Ocean’s force has already changed its profile.
